De familie van Zahra Bahrami, die vastzit in Iran, doet te weinig om haar vrij te krijgen. Dat heeft Adnan al-Mansouri verklaard tegenover de Wereldomroep. Hij is de zoon van een andere Nederlands-Iraanse politieke gevangene.
Mansouri noemt het 'verschrikkelijk' dat Bahrami gevangen zit maar het nieuws maakt hem ook kwaad, op Iran én op haar familie: 'Ik heb begrepen dat mevrouw Bahrami al sinds vorig jaar in detentie zit. Het is toch kwalijk dat Amnesty International en zelfs de Nederlandse overheid daar nu pas achter komen. De familie is tekort geschoten', aldus Adnan al-Mansouri vanuit zijn woonplaats Sittard.
