A former US State Department official and his wife have been arrested on suspicion of spying for the Cuban government for nearly 30 years.
Walter Myers, 72 and his wife Gwendolyn Myers, 72, are accused of passing on secret information to Cuba. Mr Myers, who retired two years ago, had a top secret security clearance at the State Department. It's thought the couple made frequent trips to Cuba to meet with senior government officials. In 1995 they allegedly were received by then President Fidel Castro.
