Taliban leader behind Uruzgan attack dead

The Ministry of Defence says the Taliban leader who was killed in Uruzgan at the end of May by Australian troops was behind the attack on Camp Holland at the end of April.

Dutch soldier Azdin Chadli died in the attack. Mullah Qasin was shot by Australian commandos as he attempted to escape. His location had been pinpointed by the security services. He was killed during a large-scale joint operation by Afghan, Australian and Dutch forces.
