Schumacher returns to Formula 1

Published on 29 July 2009 - 10:42pm
More about:

Germany's Michael Schumacher is making a comeback to Formula 1 racing. The seven-times world champion is joining the Ferrari team to replace Felipe Massa. The Brazilian is still in hospital after crashing at 190 kilometres per hour during the Hungarian Grand Prix on Saturday.

On his website, Schumacher says he still feels part of the Ferrari team and wants to help out. He retired three years ago, but will now be on the starting line in the European Grand Prix in Valencia on 23 August.
