Red Cross worker kidnapped in Darfur

A French Red Cross worker has been kidnapped in the Sudanese region of Darfur.

 

The aid worker, who was part of a Red Cross initiative to improve water provisions in the region, was seized by armed men just outside the provincial capital Geneina. A representative of the aid organisation said the abducted man is currently in good health.
