Police in Italy have arrested 14 people across the country in a large-scale investigation into Internet child pornography.

Some 300 suspected users are being investigated. The authorities say shocking pornographic pictures of children were found during a number of house searches. The investigation, coordinated from Sicily, is said to have dealt the biggest blow to Italy's Internet child porn rings.
