More about:

The death toll for influenza (A)H1N1 has exceeded 2000. The World Health Organisation says 2185 people have died of the disease which originated in Mexico.

A week ago there were 1800 deaths reported. Mexican flu has been diagnosed in 171 countries. Most of the fatalities have been reported in the American continents.
