The Special Tribunal for Lebanon (STL) has created a secure webpage for individuals who have information about ongoing investigations.

The web page was designed specifically for people who want to assist the investigators but have no secure or confidential means to contact the Investigation Division of the Office of the Prosecutor.

The web page is an investigative practice and tool used in many parts of the world to facilitate potential witnesses’ access to investigators.

When a user submits information, an encrypted message is sent to the OTP Investigation Division of the Special Tribunal for Lebanon. All information will be assessed, thoroughly analyzed, and finally used in the investigation as deemed necessary.

When creating the web page, the appropriate security precautions were taken into consideration and implemented in order to protect the identity of anyone who might use this particular means of communication.
