Fourth Tour de France win for UK’s Cavendish

United Kingdom cyclist Mark Cavendish has won the eleventh stage of the Tour de France.

This follows his earlier victories in the second, third and tenth stages. The race took place between Vatan and Saint-Fargeau. The United States’ Tyler Farrar won the mass sprint.

Cavendish also took the green jersey for the best sprinter from Norway’s Thor Hushovd. The Italian Rinaldo Nocentini retained the yellow jersey for the overall winner.
