First flu victim in Bosnia-Herzegovina

Published on 17 November 2009 - 3:17pm
More about:

Bosnia-Herzegovina has reported its first fatal victim of the A(H1N1) virus.

It is not known whether the 40-year-old was suffering from another underlying illness. A medical centre in Sarajevo said the man comes from the southern town of Mostar.

The official number of registered patients with swine flu (known as Mexican flu in the Netherlands) in Bosnia-Herzegovina now stands at 121.
