      Dalai Lama in US

      The Dalai Lama has arrived in the United States for meetings with President Barack Obama and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

      The planned meeting between the Tibetan spiritual leader and the US president has angered China which regards the Dalai Lama as the leader of Tibetan resistance against Chinese rule in Tibet. The Dalai Lama has been living in exile in India since 1959.
