Champions League quarter final draw held

Published on 19 March 2010 - 1:59pm
More about:

The draw for the quarter finals of the UEFA Champions League has been held in Nyon in Switzerland.

Bayern München is playing three-times winner Manchester United. The first match of Louis van Gaal’s German team will be at home. In 2001 Bayern beat United in the quarter-finals to eventually win the trophy.

Arsenal will face Barcelona, giving the Gunners an opportunity for revenge after losing against Barca four years ago. Italy's Internazionale meets CSKA Moscow. The quarter final match between Olympique Lyon and Girondins Bordeaux means at least one French team will go through to the semi-finals.

The first round of matches will be held on 30 and 31 March and the second round on 6 and 7 April.

The draw to determine who will play who in the semi-finals was also held.
