Six masked and heavily armed robbers have attacked the largest poker tournament in Germany. It was being held in the Grand Hyatt hotel in the capital Berlin. Police say no shots were fired but that in the resulting panic, a few visitors and players were injured.
Berlin's Tageszeitung newspaper has reported on its website that the robbers, armed with Kalashnikov assault rifles and grenades, made off with 800,000 euros.
More than 1000 players were attending the tournament, among them former tennis champion Boris Becker.
