The head of a Russian charity and her husband have been found murdered in Chechnya a day after they were abducted.
The bodies of Zarema Sadulayeva and her husband were found in a suburb of the capital Grozny a month after the killing of Natalya Estemerivoa, one of Chechnya's best known human rights activists. Mrs Sadulayeva headed Let's Save the Generation, an NGO that helps youth who have been traumatised by Chechnya's wars with Russia during the 1990s. In July, Andrei Kulagin, a member of a human rights group that investigates corruption, was found murdered in northwestern Russia. No one has yet been convicted for any of the murders.
