The Red Cross is reporting that half of those who lost their houses in Haiti's January earthquake are still homeless. This means that approximately 650,000 Haitians - from a total of 1.3 million - have no roof over their head.
The Haitian authorities are hoping to give everyone shelter by May, when the rainy season reaches its high point. Tents, canvas, rope and tools have been sent to the country from all over the world to help build emergency housing.
