It sounds boring and not something young musicians would like to do: playing a church organ. But 25-year-old Rienk Bakker disagrees. "There are quite a few young organ players. You just have to know where to look."
Bakker recently graduated as an organ player. He regularly plays the organ in the Marcus Church in Utrecht. "Playing the organ is part of my life", he says.
His dream is one day to play the organ at the Saint-Ouen Church in France. "The organ there was made by Cavaillé-Coll. His organs have a very special sound and are relatively rare".

Great article. I’ve enjoyed this contribution. Its nice to see every questions answered in a blog post like this. I will add this post on my blog and link to it. Thanks for a clear informative post, I’ve learned a lot. I hope to see videos though as I can be A.D.D and reading articles is not my favorite thing to do online. So what I do sometimes is just print the whole thing and read offline.
