Amsterdam's Schiphol Airport has something new to offer international travellers: Airport Park. Passengers can relax under trees with the sound of birds, a waterfall and even an occasional barking dog. Schiphol is the only airport in the world with its own park.
The park is located behind customs barriers. It's aimed at tired tourists who have a long stopover. Just a small section is located outside, with a view of the runway.
Tourists are extremely enthusiastic about Airport Park.

A great idea! I've used Schiphol often in the past, and it's so big and busy, thronging with people, it was stressful. I would have loved to use this "park" while waiting.
