Will Obama commit to extra Afghanistan troops?

President Barack Obama has again announced that he needs at least a few more weeks before he decides if he'll send more troops to Afghanistan. By the time a decision has been made, he will have been mulling over the question for three months. RNW's senior foreign affairs correspondent Bernard Hammelburg explains Obama's options.

Obama should commit to get the Afghan defense forces organized and help the Afghans to do so, otherwise Obama might get into another mess like "Vietnam" and Afghanistan might become Obama's 'Vietnam".
