So this is the person from Singapore is missing the point. It is not a race issue. I live in the Netherlands, I am a person of colour and I do not support Geert Wilders at all. But he has the right to stay what he says. No matter how backwards and dumb it may be. As long as he does not incite people to violence I don't see what he problem is. And what's worse denying him a recpetion in Turkey is exactly what he wants. Why can people not see that? He is not even very smart but he continues to play us all. Turkey should hav accepted him in the country, been totally hospitable and get on with the business of trying to join the EU. Is fighting this pointless battle with Geert Wilders really worth not getting into the EU. Ignore him. Marginalize him but for god's sake don't give him any ammo to use against us all. And there are certai Western values that we in the West should be proud of. Not because we are priviledged and white bu because he are priviledged to enjoy the freedoms we do.

Freedom of speach transcends infantile accusations and ignorant allegations and bigotry. Wilders is spreading hate not awareness and more importantly understanding for further integration and acceptance. His agenda is making things worst, and he knows it. He has constantly admiitted to the belittling middle eastern cultures. I think Turkey should invite wilders and show him how hospitable we can be. Isn't Freedom of Speech actually means Freedom to Insult with IMPUNITY without giving any due respect as long as that person's opinions completely CONTRADICTS **mine**? You come to my country as a guest and I welcome you accordingly. But that doesn't mean you can shoot your mouth just because my practices irks you. That is very disrespectful and it shows your obvious lack of parental upbringing. Only you Westerners think it is your god-given right to do so because... YOU ARE WHITE. But god forbid if I, a Yellow/Brown/Black/Green = NON-WHITE do same. I'm not supposed to being of INFERIOR stock how could I possibly have an OPINION. And you guys are wondering why the rest of the world hates you ;)

Freedom of speech is more important than the Turkish distant drum

The Turkish government should simply be told that the Netherlands has freedom of speech, and if they do not welcome members of parliament with whom they disagree then they don't need to greet any of the members because the trip is cancelled. Time to stand for something and stop whining.
