The Dutch are far too modest when it comes to their language, according to Professor Herman de Vries who teaches at Calvin College in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He has Dutch roots, but his family did not speak Dutch at home.

Now he speaks fluent Dutch and he wants to share his knowledge and love of the language with his students.
