The Dutch military trade union has distributed three vanloads of uniforms, boots and other gear from former defence personnel to new recruits.
Major budget cuts mean the Defence Ministry can't afford to properly clothe its soldiers. As a result, recruits are often forced to buy their own gear. The Defence Ministry says it hopes to solve the problem by next year.




















That's a noble gesture by the veterans..
