Scooters are becoming increasingly popular in the Netherlands. Drivers don't need to use a helmet and they can use bike lanes. But not everyone is happy about this new rage. In large Dutch cities, such as Amsterdam, more and more cyclists are complaining about scooters.
One of the main problems is that drivers often remove the speed limiting device on their scooters. As a result scooters exceed the 25 kph limit in bike lanes.

I always wonder who in their right mind would regulate that scooters can ride in bike lanes...it is insane. Why don't we just have bikes ride in the middle of the roads with cars....it makes as much sense.
I couldn't find a subtitles thumbnail/button to click on... is this piece interpretative? Anyway, I got the idea. :-)
Hi Alfonso,
The video should be subtitled throughout (it is on my computer!).
Cheers,

It's working now.
Thanks anyway, Ashleigh
