Controversial therapy designed to help homosexuals suppress their sexuality is covered by Dutch health insurance policies, even though there is evidence that such treatments can be harmful to the patient. Health Minister Edith Schippers was shocked by the revelation, calling it bizarre and pointing out that homosexuality is not a illness.

I know that there are some insurance policies that cover all kinds of illnesses and events, but one that covers treatment for homosexuality through prayer? That is surely a first for me. I question the ethical and moral correctness of having such a coverage, as it might send wrong signals to buyers of the policy, and lead some to deny others of same rights. In such cases, it might need the health ministry to conduct a thorough investigation into the claims.
All people and religion respect but this is BS
Religion is once again to be the source of problem.
