The one issue Americans really worry about is health care; more than Iraq, more than Afghanistan - more, even, than the financial crisis. Barack Obama's election victory is primarily due to his promise to tackle the obscene American health care system.
Obscene indeed: 47 million Americans are uninsured, another 27 million are underinsured. But with his health reform plan, Obama is hitting a brick wall of resistance - even from within his own Democratic party.
