President Barack Obama’s plan to rid his country and the whole world of nuclear arms doesn’t stand a chance, it’s no more than a beautiful dream. That's according to Dutch senior foreign affairs analyst Bernard Hammelburg, who calls it nice but 'unfeasible.’
One of the many hurdles to take are the former Eastern bloc countries:
"They love nuclear arms. And China will do as it pleases no matter what. The rising ‘Giant of the East’ only wants to expand its new role as a superpower, nuclear arms are part of that ambition."
A world free of nuclear arms? “Dream on, Mr President!”
