Is microfinance the ideal solution to poverty? And should you be allowed to make money from issuing microloans? There are as many different opinions as there are people. And this is certainly true if you ask the professionals what they think.
Microfinance organisation Oikocredit organised a series of debates on the issue. At the closing debate in Amsterdam, Radio Netherlands Worldwide put a number of probing questions to the participants, all of them professionals active in the world of microfinance.
