The Dutch Justice Minister plans to introduce legislation to reduce marijuana production. He doesn't want to target people who actually grow weed, but those who provide logistical support. He's particularly concerned about "growshops" that sell seeds and equipment for marijuana production.
The new legislation will also target electricians who install the wiring in nurseries, people who rent out barns and sheds, as well as transport and distribution companies that provide the plants. Offenders will be subject to a maximum sentence of three years.
