Leaving the Church

Published on : 11 February 2011 - 6:45pm | By Davion Ford (Photo: NOS)
More about:

In 2010, more than 20,000 Dutch Roman Catholics officially broke their ties with the Church. That's an increase of 25 percent in one year and some of these people are citing the on-going child sex abuse scandal as the reason they no longer wish to be Catholics.

The Book of Revelation of St. John the Divine tells of an Apostate Church known as the "Whore of Babylon!" Her punishment is to be destroyed by "A Great Millstone," thrown down on the Church by "The Great Angel." Now, what Church could that possibly be ...... Read the story for yourself and see if you can identify Her. It is found in chapters 17 and 18 of the Book of Revelations. The story ends by Jesus telling His children, "Come OUT of Her My People!" Maybe this mass exodus from the Catholic Church is the beginning of the prophecies of the Book of Revelations being fulfilled! Maybe millions of Catholics around the world are hearing the words of their Lord and Savior! We can only pray!

It is sad that 'the black sheep' are forcing the good sheep to leave 'The Good Shepherd! Instead of taking steps to keep the believers bonded to the Church, authorites are protecting the abusers....wonder why!!!
