Social Affairs Minister Piet Hein Donner recently presented plans to help disabled young people find employment. One of the reasons is that their numbers are increasing at an explosive rate. At the moment 170,000 young people receive the allowance. The cabinet expects that next year the number could rise to 200,000.
Jeroen Kieboom, who is 20 years of age, is a so-called wajonger. When he attempted to find a job three years ago he did not succeed because he had problems concentrating.
