Winter wonderland
Winter seems to have set in across the Netherlands as freezing temperatures made for significant ice development and snowfall. This meant commuters had to cope with travel delays and long traffic jams. But it also meant it was possible for people to skate on natural ice.
Erotic art
Erotic images are fairly commonplace in the Netherlands. Many Dutch television stations show advertisements with topless women in provocative poses. But in Indonesia such images would be punishable under the law, which is why photographer Wulan Mei Lina is showing her erotic photos here in the Netherlands.
Assisting illegals
Each year around 15,000 people travel to Holland to seek asylum, but only about half of those requests are granted. The people who are denied are not usually deported; many continue living here illegally. But with the anti-immigrant Dutch Freedom Party influencing the government, things could be set to get a lot tougher.
Drugs war
In many parts of the US, it's fairly easy to purchase a firearm. But here in the Netherlands, gun laws are far more restrictive. So what's behind the recent shooting incidents across the country? And could the illegal marijuana trade be the cause of the violence?

i love watching all these news programs from europe and places outside the us. they talk normal. they speak the truth. in the us the news and tv only report and broadcast what the government wants you to hear.
