Growing numbers of young people in Holland are using medicines improperly. According to experts, many of the seven percent who use prescription drugs for pleasure run the risk of becoming addicted.
One of the medicines that poses a significant risk to young people is Ritalin, a medication prescribed for children and young people who have Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder or ADHD. Ritalin contains the same substance as speed.
