The recent apparent suicide of Welsh ex-footballer and coach Gary Speed has people asking whether or not there's too much pressure on top athletes. Victor Elm, who plays for the Dutch football club Heerenveen, now has a mental coach to help him cope with the psychological strain of playing professional football.

The death of Gary Speed came as a massive shock in the football community. It's a shame such loved footballer came to such a sad ending. With Wales still playing for qualification for Euros, it would be the ultimate tribute for them to get the football results to show how much he contributed to welsh football.
Mental coaching helps though the will to face the pressure comes from within..
