Published on : 28 March 2012 - 2:55pm | By Margo de Haas (Screenshot: RNW)
More about:

The Palestinian filmmaker Emad Burnat spent five years filming the battle the people in his village of Bil'in waged against the construction of the Israeli separation barrier. The wall divides the village, the land and Emad's neighbours.

Last year, they peacefully protested against the construction of the wall, with the support of Israeli activists. One of them is Guy Davidi. He and Emad edited the footage. Their documentary, Five Broken Cameras, has garnered various international awards.
