Euthanasia is allowed under Dutch law, but as many as 2500 people in the Netherlands, who should be eligible for assisted suicide, are denied the service because their doctors will not agree to help them end their lives.

Another example of society imposing it's will upon someone else's rights. What is the real reason why society cares that someone lives? Taxes, guilt? It certainly seems that in daily life most people don't give a shit about you. So why would they they care whether or not if you want to die? Hypocrites. Dying should be as easy as swallowing a pill.
can not believe that no doctor is willing to HELP this man. It is a shame. Everybody should have the posibility to decide what to do with is own live.

Do you see any protests from any Dutch on this subject? "Why aren't the Dutch protesting?" Because it does not affect them personally. Who cares if this man is suffering? Not one person spoke out in support of the man and his plight.
