Tibet's spiritual leader, the Dalai Lama, will be visiting the Netherlands on 4 and 5 June. The Chinese authorities have expressed their concerns about his visit, and they have subtly warned of "negative consequences" for Sino-Dutch relations. The Dalai Lama will meet the Foreign Minister, Maxime Verhagen, but not the Prime Minister.
