Christmas comes to the Netherlands

Published on : 15 December 2009 - 4:55pm | By Fred Vloo
More about:

The Netherlands’ largest Christmas market – held each year in the southern city of Maastricht – is expecting a record number of visitors this year. Restaurants across the country have been getting more reservations than at this time in 2008, and garden centres – where those Christmas trees can be found – are doing a roaring trade. In other words: Christmas is coming to the Netherlands too!

The Netherlands is truly a magical country to spend your Christmas Holidays in. I went to Amsterdam last winter and I loved the streets, the buildings, the Artificial Christmas Trees the holiday spirit. This video brought back those magical moments to me.

Susan/Femke.
