War crimes in Sri Lanka?
A shocking video, authenticated by various experts, showing the execution of two unarmed Tamil rebels, allegedly by a Sri Lankan soldier has emerged on the internet. The UN is now demanding that Sri Lanka allows an independent inquiry into allegations of atrocities during the long and bloody war with Tamil separatists.

Allah or God? Or both?
Religious tensions in Malaysia have escalated as Muslims clash with Christians over their use of the word 'Allah' to describe their own god. As a result, churches were attacked on Thursday. US Defense Secretary supports spy agencies criticism
US Defense Secretary Robert Gates has given his support to a damming report on American spy agencies working in Afghanistan. They should change their tactics from kiling insurgents to "winning the hearts and minds of the Afghan people".
