Cambodia steps up row with neighbouring Thailand
The Cambodian government has rejected an extradition request from Thailand for former Thai Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra, further exacerbating an ongoing row between the two countries. Mr Thaksin is wanted in Bangkok where he was sentenced in his absence to two years in prison but Phnom Penh argues the case was politically motivated.
