Reloaded - A report, a loss, a minaret and the quake

On air: 20 January 2010 15:40

More about:

Reloaded - 20 January 2010: We look back at RNW's coverage of recent events, one of which is still very much in the news, and very much the cause of great human suffering: the earthquake and its aftermath in Haiti.

International aid is finally reaching the disaster-hit island, but the start-up to the relief operation was difficult. RNW correspondent Hans Jaap Melissen has been in Haiti and his reports feature prominently in this week's show.

Also in the programme: the Dutch inquiry into government support for the 2003 invasion of Iraq. The death at 100 of Anne Frank's friend and helper, Miep Gies. And controversy over the Swiss public's vote to stop the construction of Islamic minarets.
