Philippines declares state of emergency
Two provinces in the south of the Philippines have been declared in a state of emergency after clans clashed with each other in violent confrontations. At least 45 people were killed on Monday as they registered to take part in next year's general election. Hear more from Manila-based journalist Marites Vitug
