EUROPEAN JAZZ STAGE. "From Rotterdam in the Netherlands, we bring you -- Brooklyn, New York – and more precisely a “Global” Brooklyn, New York -- from the 2010 North Sea Jazz Festival. All the composers we’ll hear from at this “Missouri Hall” concert are connected in one way or the other to Brooklyn.
Our Hors d’oeuvre is an Octet by alto saxophonist Steve Lehman, The main course is served by another altoist, Jonathon Haffner with guitarist Marc Ducret. And for dessert compositions by Darcy James Argue with The Cologne Contemporary Jazz Orchestra.
A fresh breeze grows in Brooklyn -- on European Jazz Stage!
I’m Benjamin Herman… "
