Mobile phone companies promise to do better
Mobile phone manufacturers and mobile service providers claim they are putting their focus on social responsibility and the environment. However the fact that there are 4 billion mobile phones on the planet does not prevent the industry from producing more hand sets.

Burping cows cause global warming
Scientists around the world are trying to reduce methane emissions by cows - mainly by adapting the animal’s diet. Earth Beat's Thijs Westerbeek went to the Agricultural University in Wageningen to find out more.
