Myanmar targets Suu Kyi with new election law
New election laws imposed by Myanmar's military regime ban political prisoners – including opposition leader Aung San Suu Kyi – from standing for office. Benjamin Zawacki of Amnesty International, told Newsline’s Louise Dunne that the new regulations are even more draconian than the regime’s critics had feared.
WFP denies Somali food aid goes astray

Greg Barrow of the World Food Programme told Newsline’s Johan van Slooten the allegations are untrue.
