LIVE AT THE CONCERTGEBOUW “... some 100 years ago, when the cross-over styles that characterize the music of today were unheard of, Maurice Ravel was already an established cosmopolitan artist, a cameleon who embraced Spanish and Gypsy music, copied the Viennese waltz as if he had grown up in Austria, a Parisian gentleman who wrote jazz tunes or donned an Asian coat if needed. Even today Ravel’s Ma mère L’Oye, Mother Goose, is a textbook case of literally world class music...” [RNW-host Hans Haffmans]

WE APOLOGIZE, BUT THIS PROGRAMME IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE FOR STREAMING

Could you tell me how I could buy a copy of Ravel's Mother Goose?
Dear sir/madam,
There are several cd-versions available of Ravel's Mother Goose and one of the most notable is Bernard Haitink's 1971 recording with the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra (Philips 00028943874526). Please contact your local retailer and give him this number; he should then be able to order this cd for you.
With kind regards from the Music Department RNW
I enjoy your programing. Will you be providing an APP for the Blackberry smartphone?
Dear sir/madam,
We are very pleased to report to you that the development of our Blackberry app is well under way. In fact, we were able to test the almost final version yesterday! Please keep an eye on the www.rnwclassical.com website; it won't be long before we can announce the release this app, like we already did for the iPhone and Android apps.
With kind regards from
RNW Music Department
