Dutch teenager sets sail for solo trip around the world
After months of legal wrangling, 14-year old Laura Dekker has finally set sail for her solo trip around the world, in order to become the youngest person ever to do so. She left early Wednesday morning from a small marina in the southern Dutch Zeeland province, accompanied by dozens of journalists and camera crews. Newsline's Johan van Slooten made this report.

But why are they fighting over a tree? Alistair Cooke of the Conflicts Forum in Beirut explains.
