King of Pop is dead
Pop superstar Michael Jackson has died at the age of 50 following a heart attack in Los Angeles. The singer had a history of health problems and was preparing for a series of 50 farewell concerts. Jackson was the world's biggest popstar in the 80's and 90's, but gradually his career entered a downward spiral, overshadowed by accusations of child abuse and his increasingly erratic behaviour.
EU must unite on Iran
Dutch Foreign Minister Maxime Verhagen is calling for the EU to present a united front in its respose to the protests in Iran.
