Greenpeace threatens legal action against Trafigura
The environmental group Greenpeace has threatened to sue the oil giant Trafigura over the dumping of toxic waste in Ivory Coast in 2006. The company has settled out of court with thousands of victims who claimed they fell ill after the incident, but Greenpeace says it hasn't been punished enough. Fingerprints in passports cause concern in The Netherlands
From today, anyone applying for a Dutch passport will have his or her fingerprints taken. The government has introduced the measure to combat terrorism, but human rights campaigners say the measure is an infringement of privacy. Miek Wijnberg of Vrijbit explains
