You are right Hiram and I suppose you follow ISKCON..Do you think Dalai is one of the enlightened few?
Hiram 6 June 2009 - 7:00pm
Jasmin, I do not follow ISKON. As to Dalai Lama, I don't have the knowledge to know if he is one of the Enlightened few. His many interactions and involvements with the political world leads me to believe he is not but who am I to say.

But a Dalai is the chosen one, the enlightened one, among their sect. But as you say, we have no way to know the truth...only faith of his followers in him...
Hiram 6 June 2009 - 12:53pm
Those few who are enlightened, just by their presents in the physical universe, can not help but change things. The mere fact of their interaction causes change and they (their physical bodies) are equally disposed toward every living being. They do go towards the flow but they flow (path) towards the Creator of both the spirtitual and physical universe. During their flow they can not do anything but accept those "things' for which their physical body comes into interactions. They are focused on their path to Enlightment; therefore nothing hinders their relationship with Krsna.

Those who are Enlightened, do not need to change things...They go with the flow and accept happily what destiny bestows..good or bad.
Hiram 6 June 2009 - 12:33am
"Silence" is the path to spiritual enlightment. Those who understand "silence", understand that "silence" is the path to Krsna. It is the path!

Dalai Lama is a great politician. He says all, without saying it and cleverly dodges queries from the media, which some politicians might find hard to respond..Now that is a Buddhist way of communication. Silence too is a form of speech for those who understand silence!
