The new leaders of Europe nobody knows

After years of to-ing and froing over the new posts of EU President and High Representative (or EU's Foreign Minister, as many people call it), EU leaders agreed on two virtual unknowns as the new faces of Europe: Belgian Prime Minister Herman van Rompuy and British EU trade commissioner Katherine Ashton.

The Netherlands responsible for Medditerranean immigrant deaths?

Many illegal African immigrants trying to enter the EU by crossing the Medditerranean Sea in small boats don't survive. Some observers blame the strict EU rules on immigration, as most countries - including the Netherlands - have virtually sealed off their borders. But is the Netherlands really to blame? Our correspondent Martijn van Tol finds out.

'Ethical fashion is the new black'

Dutch fashion designers and business leaders have come together to launch a shop that stocks only clothes manufactured without the use of child labour in developing countries. The new store, CLF (short for Child Labour Free) opened in the Amsterdam suburb of Amstelveen. Newsline's Paddy Maguire went along to find more.
