Scientists at the University of Nijmegen, in The Netherlands, say they have found a new method to protect people from contracting malaria. This, they say, is a major step closer to a malaria vaccine.
The IMF sells gold to help the poorest countries
The poorest countries in the world are the hardest hit by the economic crisis. The International Monetary Fund is helping these countries with a new aid package which includes loans with virtually no interest. The IMF funds this by selling its own gold.
Why Barack Obama should not be President
Barack Obama is not a natural-born American citizen and therefore was ineligible to become President. Or so the 'birthers' say, a small anti-Obama group in the US, claiming that he was born in Kenya, not in the US. Should we take it with a large pinch of salt, or do they have a point?
